What is the road from Jazan to Madinah, and does the truck pass through Makkah?
From Jazan the truck runs up the Red Sea coast as far as the Jeddah area, then joins the highway to Madinah. The total distance is about 1,050 to 1,150 km depending on the pickup point and where your Madinah home is.
The truck does not enter Makkah on this trip, because going through it does not shorten the distance and truck access there has its own hours and requirements. We pass by on the through routes and continue north.
The road is mostly flat dual carriageway; the real challenge is its length, not its difficulty. So we split it over two days and check the load at every long stop, especially after the coastal section where humidity is high before the air dries out nearer Madinah.

💡 Before you ask for a price
Take photos of each room from two angles, plus the kitchen, roof and store room, and note the number of ACs and the floor in both homes. With that we can give you a price very close to final without a visit.
How should you prepare your Jazan home before the crew arrives?
What you do before loading day saves hours of work and reduces the risk of forgetting something. You do not need to wrap the furniture, that is our job, but some steps only you can do.
- Empty wardrobes of clothes into bags or boxes; a full wardrobe cannot be dismantled.
- Switch off, clean and dry the fridge the night before loading.
- Gather official papers, gold and medicines in a bag that stays with you.
- Decide in advance what is not going to Madinah and remove it or mark it clearly.
- Tell your neighbours or building guard about loading time so the entrance is not blocked.
- Reserve space for the truck in front of the house if possible, or tell us the nearest suitable spot.

Truck access into Madinah and the central area
Madinah regulates truck movement within the city, and the central area around the Prophet’s Mosque has its own vehicle-entry arrangements. If your home is near it, we confirm the current entry conditions when you book, arrange a permitted unloading point and may shuttle the furniture by smaller dyna.
In districts away from the centre access is easier, but we still keep to the permitted truck hours and usually arrive in the morning. If you are moving into a compound or employer housing, get the truck entry permit in advance.

What delays delivery in Madinah most is the crew arriving at a locked house or a landlord who has not handed over the key. Agree it with the landlord in advance, or ask for temporary storage if the home is not ready.
From Jazan humidity to Madinah dryness: what happens to furniture?
Madinah is far drier than Jazan, with hot summers and cooler winter nights. Wooden furniture used to coastal humidity loses some of the moisture in its fibres over the first weeks after the move, so you may notice a door feels lighter or a small gap appears between table boards.
This is usually normal, and it helps to leave furniture in place without extra load for the first days and to keep AC airflow off wardrobes and wooden tables. Leather sofas benefit from a leather conditioner some time after arrival so they do not crack in the dry air.
Appliances are not affected by dryness, but the fridge should stand in place for a few hours before switching on after a long trip so the coolant settles. We remind you at delivery and write it on the fridge itself.
Your first week in the new Madinah home
After the crew leaves, open the kitchen and bedroom boxes first, since that is what the family needs every day, and leave books and decorations for later. Use the numbered list we gave you in Jazan to see where each box went.
If a few days later you need a piece moved to another room or a wardrobe reassembled elsewhere, call us. And if some furniture no longer suits the new home, look at selling or storing it rather than piling it into one room.
Large families: children’s rooms, majlis and kitchens
