Shipping prices from Qassim to Jordan
Shipping from Qassim to Jordan starts from SAR 93 per box, SAR 370 for a set of boxes and bags on a shared truck, SAR 1,670 for a room of furniture and SAR 1,400 for a car on a shared carrier.
Most people shipping from Qassim to Jordan are families finishing years of work and returning home with a full household, or employees sending part of their belongings ahead. So we offer two options: a dedicated closed truck that loads the whole home at once and delivers to your address, or a shared truck billed only on the cubic metres your goods fill. Price depends on volume after packing and on the Jordanian city; Irbid, Ramtha and Mafraq are closer to the north-eastern border than Aqaba or Ma’an.
We add nothing to the agreed price on loading day unless you add items that were not in the survey, in which case we tell you their cost before loading them.
Belongings of students, teachers and employees
Many Jordanian teachers and employees in Qassim finish their contracts around the same time, and few of them need a whole truck. We combine their belongings on a shared truck, boxes of books and clothes, small appliances and a piece or two of furniture, and each family pays only for its own space. Every family gets its own packing list in the owner’s name, since the customs exemption is requested per person with their own papers.

How long does shipping from Qassim to Jordan take?
Expect 4 to 6 days overland from loading in Qassim to delivery in Amman; parcels sent by air arrive in 2 to 4 days.
The road from Qassim to Al Haditha is long, running through Hail and Al Jouf to Al Qurayyat, and the truck covers it in a day to a day and a half. Then come exit formalities at Al Haditha and entry at Al Omari, where the truck is inspected and the declaration filed; from there Zarqa and Amman are fairly close, Al Haditha being about 135 km from Zarqa. If your furniture is entering under the returnee exemption, clearance may require you or your authorised representative to attend, so we agree the timing with you to keep the truck from waiting in the customs yard.
The northern road in winter and summer
The road to Al Haditha runs through northern areas whose weather differs from Qassim; in winter fog or rain can occasionally slow trucks, and in summer the desert road gets very hot. So we build a spare day into winter transit times, add an extra layer of film to wood and appliances against damp, and place heat-sensitive items in the middle of the truck in summer.
Approximate times by city:
| City | Method | Approximate time |
|---|---|---|
| Amman, Zarqa, Russeifa | Dedicated truck | 4 to 5 days |
| Irbid, Ramtha, Mafraq, Jerash | Dedicated truck | 4 to 5 days |
| Salt, Madaba, Ajloun | Dedicated truck | About 5 days |
| Karak, Tafilah, Ma’an, Aqaba | Dedicated truck | 5 to 6 days |
| All cities | Shared truck | 6 to 9 days depending on load completion |
| Amman | Air via Queen Alia Airport | 2 to 4 days |
The expatriate furniture exemption at Jordan Customs
Jordan Customs exempts the furniture and household items of a returning Jordanian expatriate whose residence abroad lasted at least a year and has ended; the exemption is granted once and requires an original packing list of the furniture and appliances.
Documents Customs accepts as proof of residence abroad include a valid passport, an end-of-contract letter, a lease or electricity bill, cancellation of the residence on the passport, or the children’s admission to a Jordanian school. The furniture owner or a formally authorised person must attend, and a power of attorney is given to the clearing company. Anyone who went back to live abroad cannot receive a second exemption until five years after the first.
Our role is to make the packing list accurate and identical to what is in the truck. We list every box by number and contents and separate used appliances from new ones, because the inspector matches the list against the load. Keep copies of your documents with you and send us photos before loading so we can confirm they are sufficient.
Ways to ship from Qassim to Jordan
Road freight in closed trucks via Al Haditha is the main method from Qassim to Jordan, air is for urgent parcels, and sea via Aqaba Port is an option for traders only.
Road: the natural route from Qassim
A closed truck takes your furniture from your door in Qassim to your door in Jordan with no unloading on the way. We use closed dynas for a few rooms, medium trucks for apartments and closed trailers for large homes and offices, all locked after loading and opened only for inspection or on arrival.
Air: for papers and small parcels
Air freight from Qassim to Jordan is useful for official documents and certificates, laptops and phones, and personal medicines with a prescription. It flies from Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz International Airport or King Khalid Airport in Riyadh to Queen Alia International Airport and is delivered in Amman or sent on to the governorates.
Air pricing uses the greater of actual and volumetric weight, the latter being length, width and height in centimetres multiplied and divided by 6000. A folder of papers in a small box has a low volumetric weight, so air is reasonable; a big suitcase of clothes may be charged at twice its real weight, so leave it for the truck.
Sea: for large cargo
Large commercial cargo can go in containers to Aqaba Port, but the road from Qassim is shorter and faster for household goods, so we suggest sea only to traders.
Moving and packing furniture from Qassim to Jordan
We move a full household from Qassim to Jordan with dismantling, packing and numbering, and reassemble it in your Jordanian home.
Qassim homes are spacious with large furniture, while homes in Amman and Salt often involve stairs, several floors and steep streets, so we think about unloading before loading. Large wardrobes are broken down into panels to fit up the stairs, big sofas are blanket-wrapped and hand-carried if the lift is too small, and bedroom parts are numbered so the crew in Jordan finds them in order. The kitchen is dismantled with its doors wrapped separately, and the marble top travels upright on a board.
Appliances from Qassim run on the same voltage in Jordan, so there is no need to sell them over electrical worries. We pack the fridge, washer and oven after emptying and drying them, and screens in upright boxes. Because winters in northern Jordan are cold, if you arrive in winter we hand over the box of blankets and winter clothes first.

Car shipping from Qassim to Jordan
We ship cars from Qassim to Jordan on a shared carrier from SAR 1,400, or on a dedicated closed carrier for a sedan from SAR 2,050, arriving in roughly the road transit time.
In Saudi Arabia the car must be in your name, fines paid, and export plates issued by the traffic department. In Jordan, note the recent import rules: electric cars older than 3 years can no longer be imported, and cars damaged by fire or flood or classed as unrepairable in their country of origin are banned. Imported cars pay Jordanian taxes and fees according to type and value, so ask about the cost before shipping to compare shipping your car with selling it here.
If you are driving to Jordan for a visit and returning, that is temporary entry needing a triptyque or temporary-entry formalities, not a permanent export.

Documents needed to ship to Jordan
To ship furniture to Jordan you need a copy of the owner’s passport, proof of at least a year’s residence in Saudi Arabia and its end if you are claiming the exemption, an original packing list and a power of attorney for the clearing company.
- A copy of your passport and Saudi iqama.
- Proof that residence or work has ended: final exit, contract termination or equivalent.
- An original numbered packing list we prepare while packing.
- A formal power of attorney for the clearing company in Jordan.
- For a car: registration and export plates or certificate.
Shipping goods and Qassim products to Jordan
We ship commercial goods from Qassim to Jordan by full truck or consolidated load, with the commercial invoice, certificate of origin and packing list Jordanian customs requires.
Common cargo from Qassim to Jordan includes packed dates and date products, packaged foods and products from industrial cities. Food is inspected on entry, so it needs factory packaging, a clear label showing ingredients and expiry, and an importer in Jordan to receive it. Some traders bring goods into the Zarqa Free Zone and release them in batches, and we deliver wherever you specify.
What to do before the truck reaches your home in Qassim
Before loading day, prepare the papers, sort your belongings, empty the appliances and leave the crew room to work.
- Send us copies of your passport, iqama and end-of-work document a few days before loading.
- Decide what you will leave or sell; do not leave that decision for loading day.
- Empty the fridge and freezer two days before and dry the washing machine.
- Gather gold, cash and original documents in your personal bag.
- Set aside the boxes for your first days in Jordan and mark them “open first”.
- Tell neighbours or the building guard the truck time so there is room to park.
These small details are what let loading finish on the day and the truck leave on time without waiting for a paper or a decision.
What cannot be shipped to Jordan?
Jordan bars firearms and ammunition, drugs, anything flammable including gas bottles, prescription-only medicines without the prescription, and wrecked cars that cannot be repaired.
In practice we ask that gas cylinders, petrol and paint stay out of the furniture load, and that cash, gold and original documents are not packed in the truck. Home food and loose dates may spoil or be held at agricultural inspection, so if you want to take Qassim dates with you, send them in sealed factory packs.
Cities we deliver to in Jordan
We deliver from Qassim to Amman, Zarqa, Russeifa, Irbid, Ramtha, Mafraq, Jerash, Ajloun, Salt, Madaba, Karak, Tafilah, Ma’an and Aqaba.
In Amman we reach both western and eastern districts, and we need to know if your home is on a steep or narrow street, since some streets cannot take a trailer and we transfer to a smaller truck. Irbid and Zarqa have many multi-storey apartment blocks, so we send a crew large enough for stair carrying. Aqaba, Karak and Ma’an are usually the last day of the delivery run.
Western Amman districts such as Abdoun, Khalda and Dabouq have many villas and modern buildings with lifts, while Jabal Amman, Jabal Al-Hussein and the eastern districts have older homes with stairs. So we ask about the floor, the lift and the stair width before arrival, to send the right number of workers and know in advance which pieces to dismantle and which to carry whole. After unloading we reassemble the furniture and open the boxes marked fragile with you first, and any remark is written into the delivery record before we leave.

Collection areas in Qassim
Our crews collect in every part of Qassim: Buraydah, the region’s capital, plus the governorates of Unaizah, Ar Rass, Al Bukayriyah, Al Badaya, Al Mithnab, Riyadh Al Khabra, Al Asyah, Uyun Al Jiwa, Ash Shimasiyah, Abanat, An Nabhaniyah, Uqlat As Suqur and Dariyah.
In Buraydah we work in districts such as Al Khaleej, Al Nahda, Al Safra, Al Rayyan, Al Iskan, Al Fayziyah, Al Liwan and Al Hadiyah; in Unaizah around the old centre, Al Nour and the new districts; and in Ar Rass and its surroundings. Al Bukayriyah and Al Asyah sit on the northern road, so loading there trims part of the trip to Hail.
Steps to ship from Qassim to Jordan
Shipping to Jordan takes five steps: quote and papers, packing and packing list, loading, crossing and clearance, then delivery.
- You send room photos, your Jordanian city and residence documents, and we reply with price and date.
- We pack, number and write the original packing list with you.
- The closed truck is loaded and leaves for Al Haditha.
- The truck crosses to Al Omari and we follow clearance and the exemption request with the broker.
- At your Jordanian home the crew unloads and rebuilds each piece, then ticks off the packing list with you.
